Gypsy Purse

Finished my Gypsy Purse this evening. It is the first ever for me, and a challenge for the HandEmbroidery group. It just so happened that one of the recycled dresses had a jacket, and it was piped in gold. I used that for the handles, and it turned out pretty good.

Speaking of firsts, the Needle Case swap we did on the CQforNewbies swap was the first and second ones of those I'd made. The first three pics are one case, the following two are the second.

Your your Gypsy purse turned out great. I have had to work really hard to NOT join that group. To much going on a CQfN!!

Thanks, Jo. I have been just reading the lists recently - and started one of the 'recommended reading' books from one of the lists, Outlander. There is not enough time to do everything...

Debbie, Thank you. I've been CQing off and on for several years - actually more off than on. You see, my name is Charlene, and I'm a craft junkie. :-) But of course, many of the other crafts CAN be incorporated into CQ - that's what I love so much about it.
