We're finally getting a little cold weather - it's only supposed to be high 30's today. The wind is so blustery, Pixie needed a sweater to wear outside.








I got her a cape first, but it was too big, so this is just the thing for her to wear to our Christmas party.

Pixie says Hello

Hello, China and Maddie!

My mom said you guys wanted to take a peek at me, so she took this picture. It isn't the best. I had my hair done by a new person this past weekend, and he wasn't the best. You know it's hard to find anyone who will do what you ask. Y'all have a great blog! Maybe one day Mom will set one up for me, too.

Finished the Peacock and Pixie

Thanks to the 15 Minute Challenge from our Crazy Seoul Sister of the Hand Embroidery list, I have finished the colorful peacock! Now I'll get on with the stitch of the month, the Stem stitch!



I jokingly told JK she should get her hubby to let her dry his feet like I do my pup's feet. When we come inside and it's wet or she has grass clippings on her feet, I say, Let me dry your feet, and she will hold up her leg to let me wipe them. JK said I needed to preserve that picture, so here it is. Pixie thought I was a little strange tell her to let me dry her feet when we hadn't been outside, but she did as I asked :-)

Pixie Rings the Bell

I got Pixie when she was less than 8 weeks old. I have a bell hanging on the door between the mud room and kitchen. When she was too tiny to know what we were doing, every time I took her out I would take her paw and ring that bell, and say "out". Since the time she was less than three months old, she has been ringing the bell to go out. I KNOW it is hard to believe, but it is the honest truth!!
