A New Blog

I've created a new blog, Needle in Hand, to post all my needle tatting endeavors. It is not simple to move posts from an existing blog to a new one, as you well know if you've done it before.

Most of my craft time has been spent on tatting recently, but as I proclaim, "So many types of crafts interest me... novice of many, expert of none." What is it that drives where the interest of the moment lies? I'd be happy to hear your ideas...

LOL!!! Same Here! I dunno I aways think of them as whims that go with the breese...kinda like the wind changes my mood for a certain craft will be inspired and I'll go there for a while. I also like my honeybee analogy of buzzing around to all the different flowers and also revisiting old ones too! LOL It fits me that's for sure! I'm always finding new crafts and always revisit my old favs. OH and the other thing is some flowers (crafts) are more appealing and I stick with them or come back to them more often than others. I used to love scrapbooking but I haven't done it in a long time...crazy quilting kind of took over, and I have to say I think my experience scrapbooking helps my crazy quilting! Fabrics are like paper and threads like pens, markers, and embellishments are the same just in different mediums!

For my best friend, it's whatever I'm doing at the moment. =) For me, it's whatever gives me creative pleasure. I usually focus on a couple of things, and my focus hasn't changed much in the last 35 years. =) Quilting! Any kind. Anything related to.

BTW, I see that you are almost half-way on the weight loss! That's great!
