TAST IV - Cretan Stitch

Last night I did a little stitching on the Cretan stitch for TAST, still working on the Travel Quilt blocks. It is one of my favorite stitches. I found some great examples in Dorothy Bond's Crazy Quilt Stitches! One thing I think is so neat is that it's pretty in its simplicity, but it can be embellished to no end!

LOL! We'll agree to disagree on this one, though your embellished stitches are certainly lovely! I like the flower thing you did. I know you're going to do more with it, too. I wonder, now that I see this, if there isn't some wreath kind of think I might do. I'll have to play around with that idea when I finish Gerry's heart.

Charlene,
I like you work on the Cretan, especially the wreath/flower great idea and I can see it can be encrusted. VBG.
